| The Cat Doctor CATERWAULER Volume 1, Number 5 187 Watson Rd., Dover, NH (603) 742-MEOW December 20, 2003 The Cat Doctor of Dover would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, cool Kwanzaa, and a super solstice! Everyone here (Diann, Mistoffelees, Dr. Young, Gucci, Joy, Sara, and Traci) hopes that we all have a safe, secure, and prosperous New Year, and may all your cats be healthy. We actually do prefer to see cats when they're healthy, even though we do see you and them more often when they're sick! THE CAT DOCTOR SEES 2,000TH CAT! Bing is the Cat Doctor's 2,000th cat that we have seen since we opened in September 2001! Bing is a Siamese cat that owns Mary F. of Portsmouth, and is named Bing because he has dreamy blue eyes similar to Bing Crosby. Also, when he was young he would not walk or jump, but ....."bing" all around the house! Mary received a free Cat Doctor coffee mug, and Bing got two catnip toys, and a bag of Fiber Formula Cat Treats! Bing needed some dental work done by Dr. Young after she saw him for his annual examination, and although you can't see his pearly whites in the picture, his smile is a lot brighter now (and his breath is better, too!) LOOKING FOR A LAST-MINUTE GIFT FOR FUZZY? Kitty gifts and cards are available at The Cat Doctor if you're looking for a gift for that "special someone" in your life. We still have a good selection of cat ornaments for your tree, kitty picture frames for your favorite feline, and cards by Erika Oller. We also have a good supply of catnip knots and other toys available. If you want to give yourself a gift, we are also selling Cat Doctor of Dover coffee mugs, green 15 oz. mugs with our logo on them. Our staff have been giving them to their family and friends as gifts, and they all recommend them (our staff are becoming our best customers, according to the Office Manager!). The last issue of The CATERWAULER had a request from Dr. Young to not use tinsel on your tree, so that Fuzzy and his friends wouldn't eat it and get an intestinal blockage requiring surgery. One of our customers found purrfect alternatives in the All Things Bright and Beautiful website (http://www.allthingsbright.com/tinsel.html) and also at the Shaker Workshops, and they are "Cat Doctor" approved! |
